What the Family plan is
The Family plan lets you share selected entries with up to 5 members. Each member has a private vault (that others cannot see) and access to a Shared vault for common entries. Sharing is end-to-end encrypted — a per-member key.
1. Activate Family
The organiser activates the plan in Škrinjar on the web (my.geslar.app) after signing in.
- Sign in and choose Family.
- Activate the subscription (you can try it first — full refund within 14 days).
2. Invite members
- In Škrinjar on the web open Family → Members → Invite.
- Enter each member's email (up to 5).
- The member accepts the invite and sets their own master password.
For minor members, the organiser provides consent under Art. 8 GDPR.
3. Share entries and set permissions
- Move or copy entries into the Shared vault.
- Per member, choose a permission: view or edit.
- Each member's private vault stays separate and inaccessible to others.
4. Manage and remove
- Manage members, permissions and billing in Škrinjar on the web.
- Removing a member rotates the shared keys and ends their access; their private vault stays theirs.
- Cancelling the plan ends access to the Shared vault; local data remains.
